The partnership addresses a critical challenge in modern logistics: the last-100-yard bottleneck. Currently, delivery drivers can spend the majority of their time navigating short distances from their vans to customers' front doors, often managing multiple nearby drop-offs. RIVR’s autonomous robotic companion is designed to streamline this process by handling these final steps, allowing drivers to focus on more complex tasks, boosting throughput and enabling the first scalable solution for the last-100-yard bottleneck.

Solving the Last-100-Yard Challenge

"With the exponential rise in e-commerce, optimizing last-mile logistics is more important than ever. Our partnership with Evri is a major step toward reimagining parcel delivery with robotics, enabling faster, more cost-effective, and driver-friendly solutions."
- Marko Bjelonic, CEO of RIVR

By integrating RIVR’s robot into its operations, Evri aims to make last-mile delivery more efficient and less physically demanding for drivers. The robot reduces the need for repetitive short-distance walking, alleviating driver fatigue while increasing parcel throughput and efficiency. This solution allows drivers more time to optimise package organization for upcoming deliveries and customer interactions.

"With the exponential rise in e-commerce, optimizing last-mile logistics is more important than ever," said Marko Bjelonic, CEO of RIVR. «Our partnership with Evri is a major step toward reimagining parcel delivery with robotics, enabling faster, more cost-effective, and driver-friendly solutions."

Evri partners with leading retailers, marketplaces, and pre-loved platforms across Europe. The company is committed to pioneering sustainable and convenient delivery solutions, making RIVR’s robotic technology a natural fit for its innovation roadmap.

"As we continue to push boundaries in delivery logistics, we’re excited to explore how RIVR’s robotic solution can enhance our operations," said Evri Chief Technology Officer, Marcus Hunter. “We believe this technology will redefine last-yard delivery, providing a better experience for both drivers and customers."
